India need National Level Policy to Improve the Air Quality



 As we all knows pollution does not form overnight, nor can our efforts to end it see immediate effect. Enforcement is still not good enough but initiating is much better then too late. India need national level policy to control the air pollution to improve the Air Quality.
1. Restrict the construction of power plants and other energy-intensive industries near residential areas.
2. Reduction of emissions from Coal/Diesel burning industries and Diesel vehicles
3. Boost cleaner and more efficient use of Coal/Diesel
4. Promote the use of electricity and natural gas in place of coal/Diesel/Petrol
5. Support for wind, solar and bio power sectors; increase in proportion of clean energy
6. Encourage the use of waste straw as a resource
7. Reduction in-field burning
8. Encourage to plant tree on road side bay and create forest
9. Implementation of control measures to deal with air pollution.
10. Improve urban planning to increase green spaces.
